Voice Mobility Raises $1.6 Million in Private Placement

Stock System Trading The developer of next generation messaging solutions had announced extended terms to its agreement with Avaya, Inc. (NYSE: AV) December 5, 2003. On March 9, 2004, Voice Mobility released news that it had completed a private placement for Cdn.$1.035 million. In June, Voice Mobility announced a global agreement with Avaya to offer large scale messaging to service providers worldwide. Now, Voice Mobile may be at it again with further news to come of its business expansion.The offering consisted of 2,457,577 units at prices between Cdn.$0.65 and $0.66 per unit. Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of one share purchase warrant. Each whole share purchase warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share at the price of Cdn$1.00 per share for a period of three years. Voice Mobility has the right on thirty days notice to require the holders of the warrants to exercise their warrants so long as the closing price of Voice Mobility's shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange exceeds Cdn.$2.25 per share for at least thirty consecutive trading days prior to the date of the notice.

Day Online Stock Trading Direct competitors shares closed mixed with Comverse Technologies (NASDAQ: CMVT) closing up 12 cents at $18.55 while Lucent Technologies (NYSE: LU) closed down 4 cents at $3.25.
